How Do I Begin?

Our Initial Contact

Simply call or email me.  We can get acquainted with one another via telephone and talk about your unique situation and how we can work together to create a path for you and your loved ones. There is no charge for this initial contact which typically lasts for 20 to 30 minutes. 

During this call you may schedule a Planning Session, and we can discuss my affordable fees and available payment methods.

A 90-minute planning session in-person or via Zoom/video calling, or phone to clarify your social, practical, spiritual, and legacy needs. Together we will create a plan which will present to you via email after our consultation. This plan can be revised at any time pursuant to your changing needs and my availability.

As a Doula, I provide emotional support to my clients. I am your ally. I create a safe place for you to express yourself with authenticity and courage. I help you plan. I help you live your life fully. I companion and care. I guide you through practical matters. I empower you to articulate your needs and desires. I work adjacent to your medical team and with your loved ones, meeting them where they are with unconditional positive regard for all. 

As a Doula I:  


  • Provide non-medical, nonjudgmental emotional/spiritual support and soothing physical comfort measures.
  • Cultivate inner calm and peacefulness, even in the face of chaos and intensity.
  • Gather relevant information and connect you to beneficial resources.
  • Assist you with living your days to the fullest - developing wishes for care together, arranging visits, and encouraging the preservation of energy for what is most important.
  • Support you with the purposeful work of life reflections, storytelling, and legacy projects.
  • Facilitate advance directives.
  • Empower you through Dignity Therapy.
  • Coordinate household needs, pet care, and other day-to-day activities.
  • Assist you with vigil planning and sitting.
  • Creating personal after death rituals and remembrances for your family.
  • Educate you on funeral and green burial practices.
